Weeping Mulberry Tree (morus alba pendula)

Sought out for the growth pattern as much as for the fruit. Staked and kept trimmed the branches will naturally weep and glide downward. Beautiful and functional, this tree is a heavy producer of sweet tasty berries. Botanically the fruit is not a berry but a collective fruit in appearance like a swollen loganberry. When the flowers are pollinated they and their fleshy bases begin to swell. Ultimately they become completely altered in texture and color becoming succulent fat and full of juice.
