Bahama Berry Mounjean Tea Bush (nashia inaguensis)

Fragrant leaves, with the scent and flavor of citrus, vanilla and pineapple, is used as an herbal tea referred to as Mounjean tea. Bahama Berry has tiny, shiny green leaves and a twiggy branch growth habit, that develops clusters of small white flowers giving way to red-orange berries. In nature it's a rambling plant reaching 7 to 8 feet high, but it has proven to lend itself very well to being used for Bonsai. It's this ability to conform to any type of container or well drained soil that makes it wonderful for patios and porch gardens, bonus; the aromatic leaves make it wonderful to brush up against while gardening.
